Todd McKinney- Children's Entertainment & Educational Specialist:

As a  "full time" professional children's entertainer and motivational presenter I have the awesome privilege of touring the great state of Texas and Oklahoma to bring programs to children that are fun, exciting and memorable.   All of my programs are designed with elementary age children in mind ranging in age from 4 years to 12 years old.  Whether I am presenting a program at a "just-for-fun" type of event or one of my educational and motivational school assembly programs, my overall goal is to always provide an experience that children will remember long after I am gone. 

I first became interested in magic at the age when I learned my first close-up trick.  By the age of twelve I performed my first paid show and I have been going strong ever since.  Looking back at the past twenty years,  I can hardly believe that I am now one of the busiest children's performers working today.  My schedule now exceeds over 400 programs each year which has allowed me the honor of performing in every major city and just about every small town throughout Texas.  With over 3000 programs and counting,  my love for performing is here to stay.

These days private events and church programs often fill my busy weekend schedule.  During the week I travel full time presenting educational and motivational school assembly programs to elementary campuses across Texas.   My passion is talking to students and motivating them to become great readers, stay away from drugs,  have positive self-esteem and respect for others.   These school programs have literally changed my life and have helped me not only to be a better person but to also be a better parent to my two wonderful children. 

I live in the small community of Robinson, Texas (GO ROCKETS!) which is a great place to live and raise a family.   I am very happily married to the greatest woman in the world,  Leslie and we have to boys,  Ty (9 years old) and Johnathen (13 years old).   When not on the road,  I spend my time with my 3 biggest fans who I love and cherish dearly.

Aside from performing,  I am also a children's author.  In 2004 I released my first book,  Amazing Magic Secrets Revealed- Just For Chiildren.  Most recently I released a souvenier book for children entitled,  Amazing Magic You Can Do Using Math, Science, Reading and Spelling.   Both books have proven to be popular among children everywhere.  Since I also offer programs for private parties,  I put together a book for busy parents entitled,  "How To Create The Most Unforgettable Children's Party Ever- A Survival Guide.   All of these titles are self-published and are available directly from me.
