In the meantime, here are some answers to common questions that parents ask about my birthday party packages. I hope this information helps you with your decision to have a super fun-filled party for your child.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT BIRTHDAY PARTIES...

What does it cost for you to come to my child's party?  When it comes to finding the right performer for your child's party,  I know that you have many choices.  Please understand that I am not one of those "$150.00 discount entertainers" who only performs on the weekends as a hobby.  When you invite me to your party, you can expect to pay a little more for my services.  In return, I promise to show up ON TIME and to deliver an experience that your child will always remember.  No need to worry, I don't charge a mortgage payment or anywhere close to that to attend the party.  If fact, many parents have told me through the years that my party packages are a fantastic value.  I am happy to discuss rates with you by phone!


Is a deposit required to secure a date?  Yes, I do require a small deposit to hold the time and date you want for your party.  The deposit comes off the total of the show. 


What forms of payment do you accept?  I take all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover) as well as cash.  Sorry, I do not accept checks!


How far in advance should I schedule my party?  Since I perform full time, it is best to schedule as soon as possible to get the time and date you want. My schedule tends to stay full year round so I suggest not waiting until the last minute.  Most parents book at least three-four four weeks before the party date. 


What age group is the show suitable for?  My birthday party show is designed for kids ages 5-12 and fun loving adults.  Children 4 and under are more than welcome to attend but are requested to sit in the back near the adults due to their short attention span.


Will the adults and teenagers enjoy the show?  One thing that parents tell me often is how much fun they had.  Don't worry, just because I perform for children does not mean that my show is "cheesy."  In other words, everyone will have a great time!


How many kids should we invite?  It is best to have a minimum of at least 8 children that are all around the same age of the birthday child.  Please feel free to invite as many guests as you would like.  The more children we have, the more we have!


How long is the show?  My birthday party shows are approx. 45 minutes in length.  I have found this to be the perfect amount of time for children to sit and watch the show.


Will you give my child special attention?  I make the birthday child the STAR of the show from start to finish. They get to help make real cookies appear from thin-air and many more surprises. They also help to make my live white dove and my live bunny rabbit appear. The focus of the show is on the birthday child and how special they are. 


What if my child is shy and won't participate?  If your child is shy and would rather sit and watch the show rather than be in the show, it is NOT a problem at all.  I can easily use other children in the show to take their place.


Do you use audience participation?  I use a ton of audience interaction throughout the show.  I am not one of those performers that have the kids sitting and just watching.  I put the kids in the show and make them the stars.


What makes you different from other performers? The fact is that there are dozens of entertainers from which to choose.  However, there are only a few that actually perform FULL TIME for a living and specialize in working with kids.  There are some really great performers out there BUT there are some really scary ones as well.  One thing that makes me different than most performers is that not only do I perform for a living but I only do shows for children.  I am NOT an "all occassions" performer but rather a "children's entertainment specialist" with over 20 years of experience. 


What are we required to provide?  I bring everything I need to make the show a huge success.  All I need from you is a chair and an electrical outlet to plug my sound system into.  There is nothing else for you to worry about!


Can the show be performed outside?  Sorry, the show must be indoors!  Due to the use of props, I am not able to perform outside.


How much space do you need?  My show does not take up much room at all.  I will sit up so that my back is to a wall.  It is best to have the kids on the floor with the adults standing in the back of the room. 


Are we allowed to take pictures and videotape the show?  Please feel free to take as many pictures as you want.  I don't mind if you videotape the show for personal viewing.  However,  uploading video on the internet (youtube, etc.) is strictly prohibited!


Do you provide party bags?  Yes, I do offer party bags as an add on to my birthday party packages.  The bags contain at least 3 easy-to-do magic tricks (with props), a coloring sheet with crayons and an autographed picture from the show.  The best part...each bag is only $1.50- wow!  There is no minimum or maximum number of bags in which you must purchase.  I can bring these with me to your party and hand them out after the show.  My party bags will save you lots of time, energy and money over you having to put bags together yourself.
